Coffee Cranks Cafe is a unique venue located in a stunning Alexandra Park, Whalley Range.

The side room in our Cafe is available to hire for birthdays, christenings, family gatherings, workshops and many other events for an affordable price.

Our room is a perfect function room for anyone looking for a beautiful venue to hire in South Manchester.

The space comes with tables and chairs for you and your guests, with access to power outlets should you wish to play music and plug in equipment. The set up includes outdoor seating and a reserved section of the verandah decorated with bunting.

There is easy access to the park and playing fields through your own private entrance.
You are welcome to add your own decorations, such as balloons and banners to the space.
For children’s parties, we can provide kid’s sized furniture and toys.

We offer catering for your party. We have a range of catering menus to suit any occasion. From homemade cakes and afternoon tea to hot and cold vegetarian buffets; as well as a self-service tea and coffee station for your guests.

You are welcome to bring your own food if you prefer.

The nearest entrance to the park and street parking is on Demesne Road and Springbridge Road. There is a carpark located on Russel street. The cafe is located in the park, by the lake. Vehicle access to the park is not permitted, except in special circumstance. Please contact us for more information.

Terms and Conditions – Important! Please read!
1. There is a minimum stay of two hours, you are able to book in half-hour increments there after.

2. Should you wish to decorate the room before your party please include this time and your clean-up time at the end when making your booking.

3. You are required to clean and bag up your refuse for disposal at the end of your stay. We will provide compostable bin bags and disposal of the full bin bags.

4. We regret that bouncy castles, gazebos and similar items, as well as activities which are particularly messy or could cause damage to the interior, are not permitted. If in doubt, please contact us to check and avoid disappointment.

How to Book

Please make sure that you check the start and finish times which should include the setup and pack down for your event. Please click on your desired start time and adjust the finish time. Minimum booking of two hours applies.   Bookings require at least 72 hr notice. Should you want to book closer to the current date please get in touch via telephone during opening times.  A 20% deposit payment is required at this stage of the booking process. We’ll be in touch to discuss your event requirements

Are you a workshop provider or a Yoga instructor? 

If you want a unique venue in which to hold your classes why not hire our function room? 

It’s the perfect place for groups to meet for exercise, activities and workshops. 

We offer exclusive hire of our function room and section of the verandah, with your own private entrance and direct access to the park.

We have a range of facilities available for you to use such as:

tables for arts and crafts, a projector and screen for digital media, desks and chairs for learning and education, floor cushions, mats and blackout sheets for sensory and meditative ambience.

We offer discounts when you book multiple or recurring classes with us. We will also advertise your classes through our own social media and invite you to provide promotional posters and leaflets for display in our cafe.
